It’s not good to put anything up your vagina unless it’s a tampon or a penis. Take the garlic out, and it’s going to smell really bad!*

      Go to a doctor.

For crying out loud, take it out. It will not help.

Even if a plant’s leaves serve medicinal purposes, the roots, fruits, etc. don’t necessarily contain the same stuff.

There are OTC yeast treatments in the drugstore. Use one.

I don’t know if it will help or not but I do know this you should not put anything inside your vagina that wasn’t meant to go there.
There are OTC remedies for yeast infections, if those don’t work you should see a doctor, and wear cotton panties and looser pants to avoid yeast infections

Bit late now to be asking isn’t it ? Natural live yoghurt is beneficial for maintaining a healthy bacteria level in your vagina, not sure about inserting garlic?

Are you sure its a “yeast infection” did your doctor take a swab? You would be better of using Clotrimazole pessary & cream if it is definitely thrush. If you haven’t had a swab done then go get one done.

ARE YOU CRAZY? You should NOT be putting garlic into your vagina, especially if it’s infected. You don’t even know if it’s clean, let alone if the knife you cut it with was sterile (and I’m assuming it wasn’t) or the cutting board you chopped it on. Bacteria lives in food naturally, and right now the last thing you need to do is put MORE bacteria into your vagina!

Go to your gynecologist if you haven’t ever been diagnosed with a yeast infection before and if you have, then go to the grocery store and get some Monistat 3. And please, don’t put groceries in your va-jay-jay ever again. It will thank you for it.

Perfectly safe, and it *can* cure yeast infections (and it should be chopped or at least crushed first so its oils are released). My second wife used garlic and yogurt (eating yogurt doesn't do a thing: you have to insert it vaginally) with 100% success for most of her life.

Be prepared for your sweat to smell of garlic, though: the aromatics and oils in fresh garlic will be absorbed into your blood and distributed to your sweat glands even more efficiently than happens when you eat the stuff.

They have over the counter yeast infection medication. Garlic will not work, and if the Garlic gets out of the gauze it will sting you badly.

      Take it out.

Food doesnt belong in your vagina.

Eating yogurt will help, as well as over the count medicines.

Never heard of that - I would take it out. You can take some plain yogurt and put it on a cloth and hold it next to the area - helps relieve the discomfort ( it really works). If you have never been diagnosed with a yeast infection you need to go to the doctor, as it could be something else.

    • 17 camberscb // Nov 21, 2008 at 8:20 am

Do not put food in your vagina!- thats common sense, especially if you have an infection. Go to the doctor or get an over the counter medication.
