When I lift up my penis, there is this bump right on the front of my ball sack, and I don’t know what it is. I’m NOT sexually active. Please help, I’m really worried. Is it just a zit? When I press on it, it doesn’t hurt. It’s not huge or anything, but it’s noticeable, I guess you’d say. Please help.

Don’t freak out. Were humans, we get lumps and bumps all over the place! You’re not sexually active so it’s not an STD. Do you shave there? It could be an ingrown hair. It could even be a zit. Don’t worry too much about it, it should go away soon.

Yes, it’s probably a zit or an ingrown hair. It’s on the skin rather than internal, so there’s no chance it is testicular cancer or anything related. It should go away eventually, but keep an eye on it. The only thing you want to worry about is if it gets bigger: the you want to see a doctor right away.

Riku, yes - indeed - don’t freak out, but do see a doctor in the very near future. Many tumors are painless at the onset, but progress and can cause untold problems. I cannot hazard a guess as to what you are afflicted with. But, any family doctor can recognize the nature of the lump on your scrotum. He in turn will refer to a specialist if he feels that you need a more definitive diagnosis. Best wishes, Mike

Relax, mate. You are okay. It is just a cyst. Very much like a zit, as you say. It will just go away after a while. But do not squeeze it. If a soreness develops go to your doctor. It is very unlikely something like that will happen but it just might if you squeeze and break the skin.

It can be an ingrown hair:get it out with pointed tweezers or it is the beginning of a zit
Put neosporine on it 3x a day.
