I has a yeast infection at the beginning of september, my first one ever, so it couldn’t possibly be a yeast infection again could it? I had sex sunday, and I’ve been having an itch since then. But the guy doesn’t have any std’s so it’s not that. I shaved down there sunday too, but that doesn’t useually make it itch for me. What could this be? There no discharge or anything, it just started monday though, help!
I know I could possibly have another yeast infection in the future but I mean I just had one in September, how could I have another one so soon? And the itching is on the inside of the vagina, and if feels a little irritated.
I'm not having any smells or discharge, but this just started happening yesterday. I took the over the counter medicine last time and it cleared up the yeast infection, I just didn't think it possibly to have another one so soon, would that be normal or mean I'm not healthy? I can't really rule that in yet though because there's no discharge, just an itching.

if you shave down there it could be razor burn.

It could be an yeast infection. Just because you had one before, doesn't guarantee that you will not get one again soon.
There are may reasons for vaginal itching. One of the most common one is any tearing of tissues around the vaginal area may cause irritation. This often happen during sex and sometimes when using tampons. If there is no strong smell down there, you will most likely have a tearing of tissues which will heal over time.
***Update: You siad… "but I mean I just had one in September, how could I have another one so soon?" Yes…. it is possible.
AND…
If it smells really bad, then it can be an infection.
Most infections will create a very strong vaginal smell that you will detect. Do you have itching down there?
This is a simple checklist that you may use:
-Do you have a strong smell down there?
-Do you itch your vaginal area?
-Do you bleed bit more than you used to in recent years?
-Do you find it hard to sleep because you have an itching situation?
If Yes to all of them…. you know what I mean…. Yes there are over counter medications. But I will not recommend any because you don't want any bad reactions to them. If you think that it is an infection, you can also see a doc.
Also note that you suppose(i mean it is normal to have) to have a vaginal discharge around the time of your period. (close to your period.)

It could be a combination of the shaving, the sex and possibly another infection. Just because you haven’t itched down there due to shaving before, doesn’t mean you won’t this time.
The infection could come back, so you might want to get checked out.
Also, friction from having sex may have irritated the area - but that should clear up in a short while.
Other than that, it could be that your soap powder is irritating you.
Hope this helped

my experience with that was an std. how do u no he doesnt have one???
It does not matter when u had ur last yeast infection, u can get another one 2 days after the last infection ended. it never matters.
however, it may be a bacterial infection, almost the same as the yeast inf. but it smells way bad. and sometimes it takes awhile before getting the discharge, usually the itching comes first

Does your bf wear condoms? It may be a reaction to latex… Or if you have changed laundry soap, regular body soap, etc. Also id you use scented tampons or pantyliners- all of these things give me an itchy reaction.
