Masturbation and energy level…?

September 30th, 2008 · 9 Comments

I am in a high energy sport (swimming) and I was wondering…Could the fact that I masturbate regularly (once a day average) correlate with a lower energy level in swimming?

Or, if I didnt masutrbate, would I be more "agressive" and have more energy for swimming?

I hope this makes sense…

Your question makes sense. But the notion that sexual activity detracts from energy does not — it's an old wives' tale. Don't worry about it.

Total Myth unless your aggravated by NOT getting any in general! hahahaha. Weather you masterbate or not hasnothing to do with your performance. Although right after masterbation you might feel worn out where as others might feel energetic…really has nothing to do with performance.

one masturbate a day is equal to calorie lost by 2 kms of swimming, dude

Try to masturbate after your swimming, and watch out how aggressive you are in masturbation.

It does masturbation weakens you body for a while. Try doing it less you swimming may improve.

Actually, when you ejaculate it lowers the testrone levels in your body, until the levels come back up you will have less energy and therefore not be as aggressive.

You should not worry about something like this because it is completely OK to ask questions about these things and it is absoultely 100% OK to masturbate even once an hour if you wish. It will not put you at a higher risk for disease or sickness or make you weird. The answer is no to your question, because when you masturbate your pulse level skyrockets and you sweat a lot so masturbation brings your energy level way up not down. The reason you have a lower energy level when you swim is most likely because you are not getting enough sleep at nights. So if you did not masturbate your energy level would be at about everyone else's if not lower. Hope this helps, buddy.

Masturbation does make one weaker and makes you lose energy. Masturbate less and you can swim better.

Try not to masturbate everyday. Try to keep it to a minimum. this is for your sexual heath, not for your physical health. It will not affect your physical health if your masturbate. Keep all things in moderation. Try not to masuturbate. and when you do, forgive yourself and try not to masturbate again.

While it might take some energy away, it might serve to help swiming. A relaxed fluid motion moves better through water than an excited fustrated one. Be one with the Ball Johnny !

Love yourself first… Well… Maybe let an hour or two pass, but for the most part the answer is "No" It will not effect it a bit.
It might help you concentrate on swiming though… Instead of all the fun you missed out on…
