so my boyfriend has had this little bump/wart thing on his guy since we started dating, and today he just found it and freaked out. he thinks he has HPV but that couldn’t be possible because i don’t have anything and it doesn’t look anything like a genital wart. plus he only has one of those things, and he says it doesn’t hurt or irritate him. now we think it’s some sort of cartilage thing from possibly beating off too much but we can’t be too sure because i don’t know if penises have cartilage in them. so if you know what that thing is or if you know whether or not there is cartilage in the penis your input would be appreciated.

Well, no, there may be some, but not a lot. The penis is actually a muscle and fills with blood when it erects. To fix this “bump” go to the doctor and he can help you out.

No cartilage. There are many things that could be from a pimple to an ingrown hair to a STD lesion - only way to tell for sure - is the doctor.

It’s probably a harmless sebaceous cyst. Very common and harmless, also easily and painlessly removed by your doctor. But because of the rise in STD’s, it would be wise to see your doctor to be sure and put your mind at ease.
