that last comment made me laugh, it was hilarious!
But you’re taking yourself very well, water and soap, and just wash it, you’re doing just fine.

some people reckon that if you eat pineapple and strawberries it helps and dont eat acidic foods or curries…not sure how much truth is in this
but i think what you do already sounds fine, use lots of soap and hot/warm water, if you shave your pubic hair it can also help prevent bad odours being trapped down there and make it better for when your bf goes down on you
i also sometimes put on some moisteriser after i shower but not one with a strong scent, something neutral and fresh
thats what i do and ive never had complaints

Well, if you are going to launder it, don’t forget the Bounce dryer sheet …

Keeping the hairs trimmed or even shaved helps.
Get some Summers Eve soap for washing the outer skin. This is very gentle and wont irritate like normal bar soap.
Try sleeping without underwear. Letting it stay dry helps reduce the chance of yeast infection. If you are uncomfortable with this - go to the Boys/Mens department and get some novelty boy boxers. These are cute, modest but the loose legs allow some air to get in and help keep things dry. (The yellow boxers with Tweety Bird were favorites of my daughters.)
Odor - you have discharge as part of your normal rinsing and it should have a “ocean” or musky smell. This is totally normal. You should only worry if it smells fishy or sour as these are signs of a yeast infection.
