Can you damage your penis while wearing underwear and becoming erect? Like if your penis presses up against your underwear when erect will it damage it? Also, if you did damage your penis would you know it? (IE - very very sharp pain, bruising, etc?)

You may damage your dignity that way but not your penis. The only way you could do serious damage is to have it sharply bent by someone very strong and very crazy. If this happened you would hear a sharp crack, have unbelievable pain, bruising and a bend. Your penis will stand a lot of stress. Always wear comfortable underwear that is expensive enough to give/expand in the crotch area with erections. If you like briefs you can buy them from Jockey with a very forgiving cotton pouch that does not restrict and allows your penis to escape upward instead of downward which is painful.

I’m assuming that you are talking about if you are wearing briefs or boxer briefs that are tight. The answer is no. The underwear that you wear will have no impact on wether or not your penis is long, short, curved upwards, downwards, sideways, or anything.

Yes it is possible in a long run. Try wearing comfortable under wears or even loose ones.
Tight ones, of course hurt when you are erect. Once I had bruise and slight bleeding due to a tight underwear.
Tight under wears also could cause temporary impotency. (You will have erection but your sperm may not be healthy due to the heat your under wear stores in when it is tight.
Take care of it, as you know, after all you have only one of its kind!

You can give your self a bad friction burn. But what you are talking about, no not really. If you hurt your Johnson, you’d know. Pain is the body’s way of telling you to stop. So relax, you sound fine.

You cannot "damage" your penis by having an erection in cramped quarters. If you were to "damage" or injure your penis, you would be quite aware of this. There are a lot of nerve endings and a copious blood supply, so it would be quite painful. Given the location of that part of your anatomy, it is usually pretty safe from pressure injuries like you describe especially when it is flacid.
The penis is a muscle. It is not bone, despite references. $OLiviA$ up there is joking with you about "fracturing" your penis. It is not possible.

no the worst you'll do is excite the nerves in the glans or frenulum (Google it)…the head is capable of a lot of punishment…though you could get a rug burn (ointments will help relieve the pain here)…just becareful not to catch it in your zipper…trust me it hurts like hell

I don't think so ..there would be lots of men walking around with damage to thier penis's because men do tend to get erections even with thier clothes on
how in the world can you fracture a penis when there are no bones in it to fracture..it is muscle is it not???? someone please enlighten me

yes actually it isnt very common, but the penis can fracture from pressing up against your underware while erect, seek medical help right away, no there would not be brusies but there may be pain n swelling, you dont want penisides so call a doctor!!! good luck!!!

Yes you can. Unless your 20 years old and wearing a 5 year old’s underwear - I can’t think that you could cause enough trauma to your junk for injury. Finally, yes you would have pain and/or bruising.
