Can a Vagina be allergic to a condom?

December 2nd, 2008 · 6 Comments

For the first bit of my girlfriend and my sexual adventures, we would do the pull out method with her birth control and me without a condom. We could go on and on for awhile till one of us got sore. I have started to use condoms again after a pregnancy scare. Now we usually can only go once till we get our one orgasm then her vagina will hurt for the rest of the night preventing us from going again. Please we need answers.
After we go once her vagina will be really swollen to where I can only stick 1 finger in and that one finger hurts

;….she could be allergic to latex, which condoms are made of.

Yes, she could be allergic to latex.

Try hypoallergenic condoms. if that doesn’t work, try a little lube. It may be the dryness that is chaffing her.

Yes if she is sensative to latex, then her vagina will be sensative to it too. That’s why they make none-latex condoms and jellies and foams and stuff.
