If i sit up or really just anytime out of the blue i feel like the baby is scratching me with her nails at the top of vagina or uterus. Like shes trying to claw her way out. And its like this sharp shooting pain for 2-3 seconds. Then it goes away. I’m just wondering what this is, and does that a sign labor might be around the corner?? I just want to go into labor haaha. Doesnt feel like contractions from what i heard them described as. I don’t even think ive had any braxton hicks contractions yet. Its just a scratching. ouchy. what is it

It’s just her stretching your lower regions. It happens to me all the time. And it happens to me on my sides too, from where my little girl loves to push her feet. Good luck!

It sounds like the baby might just be stretching or moving on a nerve or something.
Unfortunately, it’s not a sign that labour is going to happen tomorrow. But the good news is that you’re already 37 weeks along! It won’t be long now. Best advice I got was sleep while you can and when baby comes make sure you sleep when baby sleeps!
